Australia and New Zealand Overland Route
Most backpackers opt to travel the infamous East Coast when traveling around Australia. Travelers usually use one of two options when backpacking around this huge country: camper van or Greyhound.

Most backpackers travel the North and South islands using hop on, hop off bus tours like Magic or Stray. They’re very convenient and offer a door to door service to hostels in major cities. Hitch-hiking is also another common way to travel New Zealand.
